Christmas is coming...

So last week, Doug and I hit our new favorite Mexican joint. Neither of us love Mexican, but this place is yummy! Well, we arrive home, only to hear a "thump, thump, thump," coming from the basement stairs. As I turned the corner, there was Doug, lugging our new Christmas tree (my mom bought it for us at the end of last season) upstairs. Yes. It was Friday, November 13th, and the Christmas tree went up in our living room. I couldn't stand looking at an untrimmed tree, so on Saturday, we decorated it. Which, brings me to tonight. I figured, what the heck, if the tree is up, I may as well finish the job. Tonight I decorated the entire downstairs, lights and all. Doug's job this year will be the lights on the outside of the house -- all white, keeping with our very colonial neighborhood.
