June 26, 2010: Sitting at JFK, after traveling 25+ hours. Our first family photo.
July: Hanging out at Grammy Susie's Lake. Mommy had whole summer off to enjoy with us. Little did we know how much they would LOVE the water!!
August: We weren't sure, but decided to take them to an amusement park one summer day. We were worn out long before they were!
August/September: First day of school. B into Pre-K, M into kindergarten. We are both very glad that we decided to keep him in school full time. We weren't sure, after only 2 months of being at home he would be ready for it, but it turned out to be the best decision. B is excelling and loves to learn!
October: Happy Halloween! Princess Biskut, and, is that Spiderman in our house?
November: Preparing for our first Christmas together!
December: Off to check out some Christmas lights in our pajamas! Ho ho ho!
Christmas morning, 2010: And they still don't play with toys....
December 27, 2010: First snow!
HAPPY 2011!!! Time sure does fly by; enjoy every second!

How fun to see that series of photos! They look like they are doing wonderfully. Happy 2011 to all of you!
ReplyDeleteI love the first day of school photo. Actually, I am impressed how good you all look at JFK. I am just expecting all the layovers to be pretty bad. I already told my niece, I will call and talk to her to stay awake on the hour drive home when I finally get back. sigh..... I have three stops in between Charleston and Addis. ugh..:-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I'm so glad you posted this and it's amazing how well M and B are doing...must be all that good parenting =) !! Seeing posts like this get me even more excited/anxious to (eventually, someday, maybe) receive our referral... I too love that first day of school photo, they just look so excited and I am happy to hear that the school situation is working out. I'd love to hear more specifics on how they are doing? Do they receive ELL support? How much? Are you doing much additional work at home? As you know, I am very interested in this topic. =) Happy New Year to you and your Family!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos Amy! You can see how the kids are growing in every photo. And I didn't know about the toy thing. Are they not interested in toys? What kind of stuff do they play with?
ReplyDeleteLove all of these pictures - it looks like they are doing great!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos. What great memories of 2010 - I'm thinking you won't forget this year!
ReplyDeleteHi honey,
ReplyDeleteI just can't get over how much they've both grown in 6 months. I think my grandson will surpass me very soon! There are so many special moments: Thanksgiving at your house, having my precious granddaughter helping me make the gravy, plus all of us at your brother's apt. on New Year's Day to celebrate x-mas and your birthday. What fun we had, especially B & M with the whoopie cushion on the way home! What a wonderful year :)
Lots of love,
Mom
