Houston, we may have a problem.....

We may have more than one issue, but hopefully issue #1 will resolve itself.   But issue #2:  Command central (Biskut's room).

All of the stuff on the floor needs to fit into 1 large suitcase and potentially two small carry-ons.  It doesn't even include *any* of Doug's clothing or the kids's book bags filled with goodies.

Thank goodness for Space Bags!  How do families do it???

I can't believe we leave in only 5 days!!!!!

  1. Thanks so much for your cookie cutter purchase! I have actually been to your webpage in honor of your oldest son and have fallen in love with your children's thank you cards. I told my hubby I wanted to order some for when people buy our newest child gifts!!

Congrats again and bless your journey to pick up your babies!!

  2. I tried to leave a comment on your last post but it didn't go through, perhaps it was my computer having issues. But congratulations again and I will be thinking of you over the next two weeks. Have a wonderful trip.

Yes, space bags, what would we do without them???

  4. I need to forward posts like these to my husband, who somehow thinks we won't have to take much with us to Ethiopia. Good grief! Good luck with your packing - you'll make it work. 5 days, woohoo!

Pack light - anything you forget you can probably get while you are there!

  8. Hang in there honey,
Packing has quickly become the least of our problems and we have to keep the faith that we'll head out on schedule. It's so difficult to understand why US immigration would bother to quibble over a child's age. Since any doctor is merely providing an educated quess, what possible difference could 6 months make? (except to prolong the start of their wonderful new life that is waiting to welcome them) It's time for an immigration intervention miracle...my fingers are crossed :)
    Big hug, Mom
